Raw Amber Teething Anklet

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
These anklets are made with light-colored round(ish) or oval beads, and at each end there is a spring ring clasp made of 925 sterling silver. The beads are light and opaque colors that can range from white to different shades of yellows. It is not usual for the beads on this anklet to have small greyish markings here and there.
The string the nuggets are strung on is designed to stretch when a good amount of pressure is applied, and break if necessary. Each piece of amber is individually double-knotted on the strand.
The amber strand is apx. 9inches long. The strand is fully adjustable and will fit any size ankle up to apx. 9inches. Your child will not outgrow this anklet for years - and possibly not ever.
While the most ideal spot for amber to be worn is around the neck, we have done some testing and have found that a full 9inches of a lighter-colored amber is an effective alternative to wearing a necklace. I am not sure if it is as effective as amber worn around the neck, but it does seem to be beneficial.
The warmer the baltic amber gets, the better it will work, (this is one reason the most ideal spot for amber to be worn is around the neck) so if you can keep the anklet tucked under a sock, this tends to help.

Similar to children’s games that have age recommendations when the items contain small parts, new legislation coming into effect in the US in February, 2009, mandates an age recommendation of 3 years and older for this type of jewelry. This jewelry is not intended for wear on children under 3 years old.
